The Place & Wellbeing Alliance (P&WA) offers a forum for stakeholders to share resources, ideas and lessons learned to enable the on-going delivery, appraisal, and improvement of place-based working. The P&WA was created in 2015 to establish a national governance and support structure designed to effectively deliver Place Standard outcomes. Local authorities/Community Planning Partnerships were invited to identify a named Place Standard professional and community lead/champion for their area. Membership has now expanded beyond Local Authority planning departments to include national agencies, third sector, individuals with a special interest and organisations out with Scotland. Currently 120 individuals are members offering a wealth of experience and knowledge.
